Numerous studies shed light on the health contribution of essential fatty acids from the Omega-3 and Omega-6 (PUFA) family.   These essential fatty acids contribute to the health of the skin and fur, support the immune system, and help support a healthy inflammatory response.   The most important PUFAs are the Omega-3 fatty acids derived from deep cold water fish.   Omega-6 fatty acids found in linolenic and oleic acids provide nutritional support for healthy skin and glossy coat.
